You've heard a lot about PrEP. You've read about it in the news. You know people on PrEP. But, is it right for you? If you're at high risk of contracting HIV, then PrEP may be right for you.

Are you at risk for HIV infection? Do you agree with any of these statements?

  • I do not use condoms every time I having sex

  • I have multiple sexual partners

  • I have anal and/or vaginal sex

  • I may not know the HIV status of my sexual partners

  • I’m in a relationship - my partner has HIV and I don’t

  • I have been on PEP before (post-exposure prophylaxis) in the past year

  • I am an injection-drug user

  • I have had STIs in the past year

  • My last HIV test was negative

If you agree with 2 or more of the statements above, are currently HIV negative, and you are willing to take 1 pill once a day, every day, PrEP may be right for you. Check out 3 steps to PrEP to get started.
